The service

Treasure Hunters sells access to outdoor puzzle games played on your phone via GPS in public spaces in Porto. Each code is valid for one group of up to 5 players.

Prices, VAT and currency

All prices are shown in euros (€) and are final, including VAT at the legal rate of 23%. The price payable is the one displayed at the time of purchase.

Payment methods

We accept Multibanco and MB WAY. Payments are processed by our payment service provider, EuPago. We never receive or store your card or bank details on our servers — only a payment reference and its status.

Purchases and codes

After a successful payment you receive a unique game code by email and in your account. Codes may have an expiry date shown at purchase. Codes are personal and may not be resold.

Delivery

The product is digital. Your code is delivered immediately by email and in your account as soon as the payment is confirmed.

Right of withdrawal

Under Decree-Law 24/2014 you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. As this is digital content/service supplied immediately, by activating (using) a code you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal for that code. Codes that have not been activated may be refunded within 14 days of purchase.

Refunds

Eligible refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of acceptance. Activated codes are non-refundable, as set out above.

Safety

The game takes place outdoors in a real city. You are responsible for your own safety and that of your group — follow traffic rules, watch your surroundings and play sensibly. Minors must be supervised by an adult.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to cheat, abuse the service, or disrupt other players. We may revoke codes used in breach of these terms.

Intellectual property

All content — narratives, images, maps, brand and software — belongs to the operator and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Liability

We provide the game "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for incidents occurring during gameplay in public spaces, nor for interruptions caused by your device, GPS or network.

Complaints and dispute resolution

You may submit a complaint through the electronic Complaints Book and, in case of a consumer dispute, resort to alternative dispute resolution (CICAP — Centro de Informação de Consumo e Arbitragem do Porto) or the EU online dispute resolution platform.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. The competent court is that of the district of Porto, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
